Change One Thing At A
Time
In order for
you to achieve your goals, it is
important to be mindful of the changes and steps you are
taking to move towards it. When one thing goes wrong, we tend
to change several variables to make it right. Yet the truth is
that we must change one thing at a time to understand fully
the impact which individual factors actually have. Below you
will find some lessons to help you understand this
fully:
1. Everything which
you do has an impact towards your
goal.
No matter how small it may be, it
will have an impact. This is because it is the small things
which make the big differences. Over time, a simple and small
negative trait can have you miles away from your goal, because
the effect is cumulative over time. To understand one small
variable may therefore be costly, if we try to change too many
variables at the same time.
2. There are Unseen factors at
influence.
The majority of the time, we are completely
unaware of the main factors which are responsible for our
success or downfall. We therefore cannot assume that one
factor has precedent over another, until we determine the
factors themselves and the influences they have. There is
always more in a situation than meets the senses,
because true reality is immaterial and
non-sensed.
3. Changing one
thing at a time allows the impact to be fully
assessed.
There is no point in
changing anything, if we do not understand the impact which
our change will create. Sometimes we may shoot in
the dark and attempt to assess the impact of a variable
then, but if we change two variables together then we are in
trouble, because we cannot say which one of those is
responsible for any changes. What To Expect
When you decide to make the
investment in yourself and only change one thing at a time,
you are deciding to target your actions and determine how
useful they will be for you to achieve your goals. This way,
we can begin to modify our lifestyle, so that only the
positive steps which will allow our goals to come to
fruition to be taken.
