Karma and topics around karma are extremely misunderstood by those
in the West. Karma is not something magical. It is simply a law of
energy and physics. Karma states that for every effect, there is a
cause. For every cause, there will also be an effect. These effects
in relation to their cause follow set laws of energy which will
determine the effects which happen.
If you don't like the effects you are getting in your life, you need
to change the cause.
In more practical terms, karma states that you get what you give. If
you give goodness and all that is good , you will receive goodness
back. If you give out badness and things which are destructive, you
will receive the same back in your life.
As such, you need to always be careful as to what you are giving
out. Every action, thought and behavior is a seed and cause. This
will create certain effects and results. If you want to consistently
get the results you want, you must make sure that you are creating
the right caused for the right karmic effects in return.
Many people fail to change their situations in life because their
karma from actions and causes in the past are effecting them in the
present. Here are the recommendations to remove the effects of past
karma:
1. know that your karma will not last forever. Your karma in its
effects will eventually die down
2. know that karma will repeat itself unless you change your causes.
when you change the causes , you will change the effects. So when
you change your cause, you will change the karmic effect
3. know that every action and thought has a consequence. Everything
is a cause which will create some sort of effect. You will need to
create the overall system of causes to create the effects you
desire.
4. know that if you are unable to do something now, it's because
your karma is in play from things in the past. For example, if you
find yourself being unusually lazy, it's because karma is coming in
to play. You should realise that your karma will wear away, giving
you your drive back to succeed.
The Laws Of Balance also come into play when it comes to karma. It
may be that nature is attempting to force a balance. So what you
think may be karma, is the balancing effect taking place instead.
